It was a beautiful Sunday morning in the house where Julliet resided. She was seen walking casually to her kitchen after she finished getting ready, wearing a plain red dress and black heels. Her mint fur coat was laid out on the counter in case she decided to throw it on later. After looking around, she decides to skip breakfast and just go with some orange juice, so she opens the fridge and grabs Simply Orange and pours it into a mug then closes the fridge and finds a stool to sit on then opens up her laptop, putting her hand to her neck and sighing as she awaited for the device to turn on. Once it did, she checked her emails which consisted of mainly junk mail, but one particular message had the words SPECIAL REQUEST FOR MY DAUGHTER in the subject. The email looked unfamiliar, but she opened it anyway out of curiosity. Before she got the chance to read it, the doorbell rang as she ran her hand through her now dry hair before getting up to answer it. When Julliet came back she was joined side by side by her younger sibling Samantha, but instead of following her to the kitchen, Samantha hopped on the nicely made couch. Meanwhile, Julliet resumed her previous position.
Julliet Brooks: I hope you didn't come here just to mope around.
Samantha Brooks : Why else would I be here? It's not you're doing anything remotely interesting.
Julliet Brooks: I'm checking emails, and I found this one that caught my eye.
Julliet sipped her orange juice and smiled.
Samantha Brooks: I wouldn't worry about them. Most of the time it's spammers, or someone wanted access to your bank account.
Julliet Brooks: I'm aware, but this one seems different...
Both sat in silence and pondered the thought for a few minutes.
Samantha Brooks: What's the message say?
Julliet Brooks: It says:
My name is Cara, I'm forty-five and I'm a singer mother to two beautiful girls. One of my oldest, Kyla is twenty-five, and my youngest, Nina is ten. Nina and I have always been a huge supporter of you ever since you stepped foot in wrestling. She has all your posters hung up in her room, and all the memorabilia she's collected over the years, and funny enough named her cat after you. She even told me that she wants to be just like you and wrestle her idol, you, and I always tell her to never gave up that dream, but deep down I'm afraid that she could never do that. The reason I say that is because up last year we started to notice her vision becoming worse and it wasn't until this year where it was revealed that she was permanently blind in both eyes and would require some extra help to get around. This has been a tough time for our family and I know you can kind of relate to the condition that she's going through, so I was wondering if there was any way you could come out here and pay her a visit? I know she won't be able to psychically see you, but the thought of hearing you in person would make her happy. I hope you'll consider this special request of mine.
Julliet Brooks: Then she ended it by putting her address at the bottom.
Samantha Brooks: People have a way to manipulate crazy people into believing that. I hope you aren't considering going there. What if it turns out to be untrue and something bad happens.
Julliet closed her laptop and gathers up some papers.
Julliet Brooks: I'll make sure to bring security for my protection.
Julliet Brooks: Luckily she's in the city, so it shouldn't be much trouble to find.
Samantha Brooks: Okay let me know how it goes.
Julliet gathers up her keys and begins to head out the front leaving her sister alone in the house.
Half an hour later Julliet was leaving the parked car outside the house, and was headed to the doorstep. She didn't know what to expect when she went in thus family's household. Many thoughts were running through her mind. Was the mother genuinely telling the truth about her daughter's condition? Or was she walking into her own demise. There was only one way of finding out. She rung the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. Finally, an elderly lady in her fiftees answered. The lady reached to hug her unexpectedly before Julliet could speak.
Julliet Brooks: Are you Cara, the one who wrote that letter about your daughter?
Cara: Yes, yes please come on it.
Julliet Brooks: Okay.
They walk into the small, but very decorated house and head to the living room area. We see a little girl playing barbies on the floor. She was blonde, had pigtails and was dressed in blue overralls, reaching to where she was and sat on the sofa. The mother took the girl's hand and looked at her.
Nina the blind girl: What is it mother?
Julliet Brooks: There's someone here to visit you.
Nina the blind girl: Did daddy come back from his business trip?
Cara: He won't be here until tomorrow, but--
Julliet chimes in and grabs Nina's other hand and held it there. Nina got up and searched for Julliet's presence, and even though it took some effort, she found it, moving her fingers around her hair and lightly stroked it.
Nina the blind girl: Girl. Pretty girl.
Julliet Brooks: Nina, it's Julliet, Julliet Brooks. Your mother wrote me an email, and mentioned what a big fan you're, so I thought I would stop by to say thank you.
Nina the blind girl: Are you sure this is really you?
Julliet Brooks: I promise you it is.
The little girl turned to her mother and hugged her then over to Julliet to do the same... almost seemly tackling her in the process, embracing it, and for once in a long time shared an touching moment with her. She wondered if she would ever have a child of her own, but before she could put more thought into that, the child grabbed her arm and forced her to join her down on the floor while handing over one of her dolls. Julliet could do nothing but sit and smile. Who knew what a difference she would make in a person's eyes especially young Nina
Nina the blind girl: I never thought I'd be playing barbie's with my favorite person on TV. Do you visit everyone like this?
Julliet Brooks: No, but I made an exception just for you sweetie, I'm glad to have met you.
Nina clapped her hands and her voice broke in excitement.
Nina the blind girl: Would you like to stay for dinner? Maybe have a sleepover? Do wrestlers have sleepovers?
Julliet laughed and they continued on with this fun friendly conversation.
-------------------------
Last week I left an impact in my very first match here in Guerreros of Lucha against two supposedly top rising stars, Angel Kash and Helena Noir, but instead of rising to the occassion they experienced a downfall. Just like I predicted would happen, and as they are left to pick up the pieces.. that gives me the opportunity to continuing moving forward in my career here and with that I know I'm going to face many challenges some of which are going to be difficult that is why I'm not going to let my first victory stop me from pushing myself further up, so when you see me again I'll be more determined, more quicker, more versatile than ever before.
She smiled and scratched the side of her forehead.
This week however I meet a new opportunity and a new adversary that is trying to make a name for herself. I'm referring to Holly Buchanan. The sister to Tiger Mask Red. It's great that the family generation is being passed on and I'm sure you are really happy for him being an inductee into the GOL Hall of Fame, but you got to wonder... where does that leave you? What has Holly done to garner the attention of everyone? That includes myself and if I had to predict the answer it would be nothing. Of course you're still young and you have your whole life ahead of you to live out your dreams. Unless of course you decide to live in your brother's shadows. Either way it's none of my business. I'm simply basing this on observation. How you choose your path is up to you, because at the end of the day I'm looking out for myself and my well being. If I don't no one else will.
She raised her left hand in front of her face and used her free hand to lift up her fingerless glove upwards.
Moving on to the next thing I want to mention, my upcoming match. The match that will determine who goes in the Azteca Rumble at El Gran Anniversario show on March 26th. Talk about the stakes being high. Now I've been in various Rumble's throughout history... never won any, but I always came close to by an inch. I'm not here to dwell on my past failures and talk about what I should've done differently. Instead you all will experience a turn around this time while still maintaining that same faith I had back then. Holly, when you vision this match out for yourself you picture it like a fairytale where everything you ever wanted as a little girl comes true then you run off home to daddy in joy, but what he may forget to mention is those stories just don't exist, do they? You want to know what else doesn't exist? Your fighting chances. My experience in the ring will beat out everything you ever worked for in your short span of your career, so get use to hearing the words "Valiant effort on Holly's part, but she couldn't cut it" echo around you. Even your own brother doesn't believe you have it in you to beat me. That right there says alot.
She nodded her head slightly.
I hope you watched my match last week and really studied my every move. If you didn't, and you think you're coming in with no knowledge to my name, or how I condone business in the ring then you might want to rethink your true purpose. The reason I say this is because I've faced girls like that, and they proved to be just eye candy with a mouth on them. Nothing more, so you got one week to prove that you don't fit this mold and how the hell you are going to beat me, because I'm not a cake walk, but rather a hurricane. Everyone will warn you about me and you'll nod and agree, but you won't believe it until your eyes roll in back of your head and you'll have no choice but to lay down and let me take the cover. Message delivered loud, clear and effective.
She folded her arms and tapped her fingers on them repeatly.
You can make claims that you want this win more than I do, but you fail to realize the struggles that will come in your pursuit. The struggles that you will be unable of overcoming therefore after I'm done making an example out of you, you will be a living, breathing contradiction as you admit that I'm much greater than you. Never test my patience, I'm lovely when calm, but deadly when violent and if you push me enough you too shall feel my rage. I hope your used to tasting the salt in your tears as they drip down your face, because I'm single handedly going to turn your efforts, and dreams into a mere speck of dust.
She pushes the camera back and storms off.
Julliet Brooks: I hope you didn't come here just to mope around.
Samantha Brooks : Why else would I be here? It's not you're doing anything remotely interesting.
Julliet Brooks: I'm checking emails, and I found this one that caught my eye.
