{The scene opens with Roxi laying on the floor watching as her son Nate crawls alongside her. Her smile seems permanent as she watches her baby boy play with toys, picking up several bigger sized cars and driving them along, before using Roxi as a human speed bump, crawling over her and taking the car with him.}
Roxi – Ahh! You gonna run me over?! Why are you running me over?
{Nate seems think this is hilarious as he goes back over the other way.}
Roxi – Ahh! Ran over again?!
{Nate giggles and drives the car away towards the bedroom area.}
Roxi – Where are you going?
{Nate just keeps going, Keira is seated polish her PoPs trophy case and sees Nate out of the corner of her eye. She turns and smiles at him.}
Keira – Hey you! Hey you!
{Nate stops and smiles, crawling over to Keira, who put him on her lap, still seated. She kisses him over and over, hugging him tightly as if he were a teddy bear.}
Keira – My special little boy.
{Keira stands up with Nate and walks back to the living room, where Roxi gets up.}
Keira – Did you get run over?
Roxi – Yeah… He kneed me in the boob too.
Keira – There were just in the way.
{Keira giggles.}
Roxi – Funny.
Keira – I know.
{Roxi’s phone buzzes in her pocket and she pulls it out. It’s from Amy Jo Smyth.}
Roxi – Oh… that’s AJ… She must have the blood test results.
Keira – It needs to be updated.
Roxi – I’m going to head over there and see what’s happening. I’ll call you when I’m done.
{Roxi kisses both Keira and Nate, before heading out the door, heading to see Amy Jo.}
{Roxi arrives as AJ’s house knocking on the door. There is a lot of thumping heard from inside, and the metal peep hole opens and Roxi’s eyes meet the hazel colored eyes of the person behind the door. There is then a laugh heard from the other side. Roxi sighs and waves.}
Roxi – Hello Pet.
{The door is unlocked and swings open as Pet grabs Roxi is a giant bear hug.}
Pet – I knew you’d come! Finally you’ve seen the light!
Roxi – What?.... what are you talking about Pet?
Pet – You’ve left Keira and you’ve come to live with me!
Roxi – No… I haven’t.
Pet – Oh…. Damn.
{Pet finally puts Roxi down, but doesn’t let go of her as she pulls Roxi into the house and looks around suspiciously to the surrounding area, before closing the door.}
Pet – I didn’t see her out there. So…
{Pet starts making doe eyes at Roxi.}
Pet – How are you doing?
Roxi – I’m fine Pet.
Pet – Yes, I know.
Roxi – Pet, where is AJ.
Pet – Pfft. She could be anywhere. She could be undercover right now!
Roxi – Is she?
Pet – No.
Roxi – That’s weird, she texted me.
Pet – Or did she?
{Pet raises her eyebrows up and down, still making doe eyes at Roxi.}
Roxi – Pet… did you use AJ’s phone to text me?
{Pet shrugs and gives a sly smile.}
Pet – You got me! I guess I need to be punished, don’t I?
{Pet suggestively swings her backside towards Roxi, who gently pushes her away. Finally Amy Jo walks in from another room, seeing what’s going on.}
Amy Jo – Pet!
{Pet looks up and sighs. Her shoulder’s slump and she plops herself in the chair next to Roxi.}
Amy Jo – What are you doing here Rox?
Roxi – Well, I assumed that you texted me and told me to come over, but… I gather now it was someone else.
Amy Jo – Pet?
Roxi – Yeah, kinda should have known, there were a lot of kissy faces and lips emoji’s in here.
Amy Jo – Well, actually, it just so happens I do have news for you, although it’s not good.
Roxi – What is it?
{Pet begins to play footsie with Roxi as she’s trying to listen.}
Roxi – Pet, please…
Pet – Just say the word…
{Pet continues to have doe eyes, leaning in closer to Roxi’s face.}
Amy Jo – Pet! I don’t want to put you on the couch tonight…
Pet – We don’t have to do it there…
Amy Jo – Can you… just give Roxi and I a moment?
{Pet gasps, her eyes and smiled widening as she points at Roxi and AJ}
Pet – You… you two! Oh yes! This is going to be the greatest threesome ever!
Amy Jo – Pet! Jesus Christ no! Stop making a scene, or you will lose your pool privileges for the week. You need to go watch cartoons while Roxi and I talk. I mean it!
{Amy Jo points to another room, and like a small child, Pet walks away, not before slapping AJ on the butt. AJ turns and it met with a cheeky grin as Pet goes into the other room. AJ turns back, Roxi shaking her head.}
Roxi – How are you even still sane?
Amy Jo – Pet is Pet. She’s a little wild, a little rambunctious, but she has her uses.
{Roxi arches a brow.}
Roxi – Uses?
Amy Jo – Look, why don’t we just discuss the matter at hand. The blood you gave me to analyze…
Roxi – Yeah, about that…
Amy Jo – Claire… Claire needs to be in a hospital. Like, fucking yesterday.
Roxi – What happened?
Amy Jo – Her blood continues to mix with whatever serum she’s taking - I can't even get a read on this chemical concoction. It's unlike anything I've ever seen and I have no idea how to counteract it. Her blood is not flowing the way it should. It's like… like… this hemotoxic venom reaction but then it turns cytotoxic. It's like she's injecting herself with spider venom. Is she Bane? This is some shit straight out of Batman… You see, there’s a brief mixing, and then the chemical fizzles out, either taking the blood with it during its erosion or eating it an attempt to stay alive. There's so much cell lysis but I can't pinpoint what exactly is causing the lysis or how the lysis is occurring. Are they going through apopotis or is just being eaten? That's not all. There are signs of Rhabdomyolysis, just like snake venom. It's eating her muscle tissue, too. She’s falling apart. Literally. I don't even know what it's doing to her heart. I suspect the serum needs her red blood cells to stay alive and once it runs out of that… It dies. And trust me, just like any other parasitic organism, it won't be long before it goes to the source. If it's a snake venom derivative, she's fucked.
Roxi – Oh no…
Amy Jo – Oh no? What’s oh no? You better tell me!
Roxi – That was blood from when I dealt with Claire. Recently… Keira did the same.
Amy Jo – As in… she took more?
Roxi – A lot more.
Amy Jo – Fuck. Is Kiera okay?
Roxi – Yeah, she’s fine. I kinda blew up at her. We’re better now. But now, I have no idea where Claire is, or how to find her. I managed to collect another blood sample from Keira’s fight.
Amy Jo – It’s no use. The acceleration of her blood mixing with this shit is killing her. You can't inject what is basically venom and expect to live very long. Odds are, she may be dead already, based on these tests. Plain and simple, that serum is killing her. She’s addicted and if she’s not in the hospital now, it’s going to be too late.
Roxi – I have to try and find her.
Amy Jo – Rox… I know what you’re thinking, but you can’t save her. If she’s not hooked up to every I.V. in an ICU somewhere, transfusions, dialysis, the works, maybe even an antivenom... she’s not going to last long. You saw her atrophy. It’s most likely too late.
Roxi – I have to try AJ. I can’t just assume she’s gone. I can’t assume anything. She knows way too much about me, and Keira, and… dammit… she’s my friend.
Amy Jo – She’s been plotting to kill you for years Roxi.
Roxi – And she hasn’t.
Amy Jo – Yet.
Roxi – Yet. Look, I appreciate everything you’ve done here. I can’t thank you enough. I need you to do one more thing for me. Just… make sure to call Keira tonight. Keep her busy with things.
Amy Jo – What for?
Roxi – Because it could be a long night.
Amy Jo – How does that involve Keira?
Roxi – Because Keira will tear down the entire world if she knows I’m in trouble. I cannot risk her getting involved.
Amy Jo – Involved? What the hell are you going to do?
Roxi – I’m going to find Claire and… I’m going to try and save her.
{AJ sighs, hugging Roxi.}
Amy Jo – Just be careful. I’ll only be a call away if you need me.
Roxi – Just don’t let Keira worry too much.
{Roxi returns the hug and stands up.}
Roxi – Oh, and please keep Pet distracted so I can leave.
{AJ gave Roxi a cocky smirk.}
AJ – I got that shit no problem.
{AJ walks towards the room Pet went into, swaying her hips and winking at Roxi as the two exchanged waves. Roxi managed to slip away when AJ walked into the living room.}
{Now flying through the air, and in costume, Roxi looks over the city, holding the beacon for the tracking device she planted on the helicopter in her last encounter with Claire. It was stationary. It was her only shot at this. She followed the beacon as close as she could. She finally had it in eye view and landed right next to it. This was a stupid plan, but she had no other options. Instantly guns were drawn on to her. Several laser dots aimed right on her torso and head. She simply threw her hands up.}
Roxi – Take me to her.
{The guards surrounded her quickly and she didn’t struggle as one approached and bound her hands, and they threw a dark hood over her head. She was forced to her knees, and one butt stroke from a rifle later, she was down and out. The men threw her into the helicopter and it soon took off, flying to an unknown destination.}
Ungh…. My head….
{Roxi slowly woke and found the world had gone black. The helicopter had landed, and she was forcibly and roughly picked up and marched, a solider on either side holding her bound arms. They walked for what seemed like ages, seemingly in circles. Roxi suspected this was so she had no idea which direction she was going, if she was making an escape. Finally, the walking ceased and Roxi was again forced to her knees. The blood hood, as well as her mask came off. She noticed that her utility belt was gone as well. But looking up, she nearly vomited seeing Claire…
Or what was left of Claire.
She was hooked to various machines, wired to regulate her breathing. Claire’s face and body were a hideous mess, shrunken, misshapen, her left arm now no bigger than a toddler’s arm. The right side of her face was sunken in, and her entire complexion was now a sickly pale. There was a hole in her jaw and neck, bones were exposed on her torso as she was covered by a jacket, but it provided very little help.}
Roxi – Claire…
{Claire barely moved, as a man behind her regulated everything. Her eyes fixed onto Roxi, and even behind everything, there was a seething hatred in her eyes. Roxi looked at her as Claire nodded and the man removed her oxygen mask.}
Claire – Happy… now?
Roxi – Claire… you need to get to a hospital. You need to let me help you! Please!
Claire – You… *cough* *cough*
{Claire leaned forward, wheezing and gasping for air. Her voice is raspy, sounding nothing like she had ever been like before. She was more monster than human. The guard behind her reapplied her oxygen mask and she took some deep breaths. Finally regaining herself, she pulled the mask away.}
Claire – No. You did this.
{Claire’s voice cuts sharply as she almost lunges for the mask again.}
Roxi – I tried to help you. I wanted to help you. I still do. But I can’t do it here. I can’t. I need to get you to a hospital. They can at least…. At least try. Let me try Claire. Please. Look, despite what happened, you are always going to be the friend I had since Middle school. You’re always going to be the friend who was there for me, and I know that… I know that you saved me. And I just want to return the favor.
Claire – You can’t. I’m dying.
Roxi – I know! That’s why you need to come with me. Let me help you!
Claire – Look at me!
{Claire reaches for the Oxygen mask again, getting worked up as the guard behind her tries to relax her.}
Claire – I can’t get help. I die…here.
Roxi – You’re doing this to spite me. Please let me help you!
{Claire stares at Roxi and doesn’t move, or speak. Her breathing is still raspy and she then rips the oxygen mask off, and starts pulling everything keeping her alive out of her.}
Roxi – No! Don’t!
{Even the guards are trying to stop Claire, but she collapses in immense pain. Roxi uses her strength to snap the ropes and rushes to be by her side. Claire and Roxi are eye to eye, but instead of anger… there is seemingly remorse in her eyes. }
Roxi – I’m going to get you out of here Claire.
{Claire coughs and wheezes. She weakly reaches into her pocket and hands Roxi a small flash drive.}
Roxi – Come on, hang on we’re going.
{Claire grips Roxi as tightly as she possibly could and leans into her.}
Claire – Goodbye.
{Claire’s body gives out. She slumps over and falls to the ground, out of Roxi’s grasp.}
Roxi – Claire…
{Roxi begins to cry, mourning over her friend, and fierce rival’s death. The guards don’t know what to do and walk around aimlessly. Roxi looks at the flash drive and walks over to the nearby computer. She stick in the flash drive and it boots up. A video is shown of Claire, in far better condition that she was currently, still color in her face and less of the demforities.}
Claire – I held a grudge for a long time Roxi. I blamed you for leaving me to die. I wanted my revenge. And then I wanted you to finish what you started. But you didn’t. You never did, and you never tried to. You always believed you could save me. I admit that I lost sight of any and every goal I had. I know now that… this serum is killing me. I wanted to be as strong as you, but I can’t be, neither physically or mentally. And you never actually gave up on me. You tried to help me, but I was blinded by rage, anger and jealousy. Even when your wife tried to at least talk sense into me, I didn’t want to listen. And now… it’s too late.
In the event you don’t come for me before I die, I will have my men deliver this to you personally. I have also instructed them not to harm you ever again once you see this video. I have destroyed the last of any of the serum, so there will be no more soliders coming after you.
I want to tell you... I’m sorry. I’m sorry for all the grief I caused, and I deserve what’s happening to me now. I carried the anger and hatred with me for all this time, just wanting to kill you… and in the process, I have essentially killed myself. I don’t want you to save me. I don’t want you to try and save me. You’ve done more than enough to help me already. And although it’s too late… I want to say thank you, for never giving up on me. I need you to do one thing for me now… and I will have peace of mind going into this, and you can have closure afterward. Just one thing Roxi…
Keep fighting. Be the hero. It’s what you do.
Good-bye… my friend.
{The feed instantly cuts out. Roxi walks back over to Claire’s body, and closes her eyes for her. She still cries for her friend, before putting her mask back on. She simply walks out the door, and soon enough exits the building, before beginning to fly home.}
{It’s some time later when Roxi finally enters the door. Keira is already waiting, hands on hips, an angry look on her face.}
Keira – Where have you been?!
Roxi – I had to say good-bye… to a friend.
Keira – What?
Roxi – Claire…
Keira – What?! What happened?!
{Roxi sighs and more tears are ready to fall.}
Roxi – She’s gone.
Keira – She’s…. dead?
Roxi – Yes.
{Keira takes a moment and punches the wall in anger.}
Keira – It’s my fault.
Roxi – It’s not your fault. Claire knew the consequences of what she was doing. Just… too late for you, me, us, anyone… to save her.
Keira – But… she kept… taking the serum.
Roxi – It was killing her long before you fought Keira. Long before any of us knew. Claire did the research. She knew… she was at the end of her rope.
Keira – What do we do now?
Roxi – We have to do what she asked me to do.
Keira – What’s that?
Roxi – Keep being heroes. That was her last message to me before she died.
{Keira walks over and hugs Roxi. The two embrace for a long moment.}
Roxi – She thanked me. Thanked both of us. Because we tried. I… I have a lot of grief, but… I also have a sense, of closure.
Keira – We can move forward, just never forget.
Roxi – We’ll get through this, much like we get through everything.
Keira – Together.
Roxi – Together.
{The two embrace again, and the scene fades.}
Greetings Amigos Y Amigas.
It was a rough outing last time for me. It wasn’t exactly the end of the undefeated streak, but close enough. Congressman Dragon and I made a great team, and we took it to a well-established tag team in our first go of it. In fact, I feel like Dragon and myself could have beaten the Outliers, but they chose to take the cheap way out. I don’t like the way that ended, and now things are amplified. Which now puts me in an odd situation come Eternal Lucha II.
I now know that Sawtooth is more than eager to walk out on a match and get it thrown out, if it means he stands tall at the end and looks like the winner. I now have to contend with the fact that he could, very easily do the same at Eternal Lucha II, because it’s not just a main event match, it’s for the Rey de Reyes championship. And I have seen, felt, and witnessed exactly what Sawtooth is willing to do to retain his championship, but good, and bad. And it makes me nervous that simply to hold on to his championship, he will get himself counted out or disqualified, simply to rob me of what I’ve worked so hard for. That must be taken into account, but it will NOT deter my gameplan for wrestling that championship away from him.
I have become focused on what I must do, in order to become champion. I HAVE to beat Sawtooth, perhaps at his own game, or, if I can keep it the way I want it, and I can dictate the pace, I can make him wrestle my match. And that is where he is the underdog. You see, this match has a lot riding on both sides. I haven’t lost a match, and his championship is on the line. He has a lot to lose, but knowing the ego on Sawtooth, putting that first loss on my record is something that’s tempting to a lot of people like him. He can be the 1. The first tick in the L column. If he can do that, then he can easily lay claim to being the very best in GOL. No one would ever argue with that in the future.
But I didn’t go through as many people as I did, to lose. I didn’t win the La Aztecha rumble, I didn’t face down HeWhoCorrupts, I didn’t go through hell last month, only to be stopped now. They say if you’re going through hell, to keep going. I have worked too long, and too hard to make not only the Soaring Eagle championship viable, but GOL itself. Sawtooth have become lazy and complacent as champion. He’s taken the easy road. That’s not going to happen ever, when I beat him at Eternal Lucha II. I will take on all comers, ready, willing and able, no matter what size, shape, gender, and all the rest of that. Because I thrive on competition, and proving I am the best. Each day that passes, Sawtooth becomes more confident, and I become more focused. Each day as Eternal Lucha II draws near, I become more focused on what lies ahead of me. I will go through hell to become Rey de Reyes champion, and I know good and well that Sawtooth will give me all that and then some. I fully expect to be in a lot of pain and suffering in this match. Sawtooth did not win the championship nor retain it, by accident. He’s a dangerous man. And he’s got a lot to fight for in this match.
But I have just that much more to fight for.
It’s not just a streak. It’s not just a record, it’s not just a championship, it’s not just history. It’s about GOL itself. They need a champion who will fight and continue to fight for GOL. Each and every time I have gone out there to my friends and fans in Mexico, I have no disappointed. I have given my all, and left people wanting more. I’m going to do it again at Eternal Lucha II and I will walk out the champion because of it.
My legacy continues to grow, and I will slay another monster that threatens it. I will take Sawtooth down and I will add more gold to my trophy case. But, more than anything, I will be the champion that GOL can be proud of. I will not back down, I will not retreat, I will not surrender. I will take who you throw at me. If it’s Honey, then so be it. If it’s AJ one more time, I’m more than happy to mix it up again. I’m not going to duck or dodge anyone. It’s going to be a new day in GOL
And it starts at Eternal Lucha II.
I will even wish Sawtooth the best of luck. I know he can bring it, and I know he will not disappoint. But I will not rest until my hand is raised.
It’s a hero’s promise.
I will see you all there.

She was forced to her knees, and one butt stroke from a rifle later, she was down and out. The men threw her into the helicopter and it soon took off, flying to an unknown destination.}
Ungh….
She was hooked to various machines, wired to regulate her breathing. Claire’s face and body were a hideous mess, shrunken, misshapen, her left arm now no bigger than a toddler’s arm. The right side of her face was sunken in, and her entire complexion was now a sickly pale. There was a hole in her jaw and neck, bones were exposed on her torso as she was covered by a jacket, but it provided very little help.}
Roxi – Claire…
{Claire barely moved, as a man behind her regulated everything. Her eyes fixed onto Roxi, and even behind everything, there was a seething hatred in her eyes. Roxi looked at her as Claire nodded and the man removed her oxygen mask.}
Claire – Happy… now?
Roxi – Claire… you need to get to a hospital. You need to let me help you! Please!
Claire – You… *cough* *cough*
{Claire leaned forward, wheezing and gasping for air. Her voice is raspy, sounding nothing like she had ever been like before. She was more monster than human. The guard behind her reapplied her oxygen mask and she took some deep breaths. Finally regaining herself, she pulled the mask away.}
Claire – No. You did this.
{Claire’s voice cuts sharply as she almost lunges for the mask again.}
{Claire reaches for the Oxygen mask again, getting worked up as the guard behind her tries to relax her.}
Claire – I can’t get help. I die…here.
Roxi – You’re doing this to spite me. Please let me help you!
{Claire stares at Roxi and doesn’t move, or speak. Her breathing is still raspy and she then rips the oxygen mask off, and starts pulling everything keeping her alive out of her.}
Roxi – No! Don’t!
{Even the guards are trying to stop Claire, but she collapses in immense pain. Roxi uses her strength to snap the ropes and rushes to be by her side. Claire and Roxi are eye to eye, but instead of anger… there is seemingly remorse in her eyes. }
Roxi – I’m going to get you out of here Claire.
{Claire coughs and wheezes. She weakly reaches into her pocket and hands Roxi a small flash drive.}
Roxi – Come on, hang on we’re going.
{Claire grips Roxi as tightly as she possibly could and leans into her.}
Claire – Goodbye.
{Claire’s body gives out. She slumps over and falls to the ground, out of Roxi’s grasp.}
Roxi – Claire…
{Roxi begins to cry, mourning over her friend, and fierce rival’s death. The guards don’t know what to do and walk around aimlessly. Roxi looks at the flash drive and walks over to the nearby computer. She stick in the flash drive and it boots up. A video is shown of Claire, in far better condition that she was currently, still color in her face and less of the demforities.}
{The feed instantly cuts out. Roxi walks back over to Claire’s body, and closes her eyes for her. She still cries for her friend, before putting her mask back on. She simply walks out the door, and soon enough exits the building, before beginning to fly home.}
{It’s some time later when Roxi finally enters the door. Keira is already waiting, hands on hips, an angry look on her face.}
Keira – Where have you been?!
Roxi – I had to say good-bye… to a friend.
Keira – What?
Roxi – Claire…
Keira – What?! What happened?!
{Roxi sighs and more tears are ready to fall.}
Roxi – She’s gone.
Keira – She’s…. dead?
Roxi – Yes.
{Keira takes a moment and punches the wall in anger.}
{Keira walks over and hugs Roxi. The two embrace for a long moment.}
{The two embrace again, and the scene fades.}
