EL GUAPO
La Historia Julian Tijerina
Segunda Parte: Regreso A Casa
Julian and Helena Noir were backstage in The Labyrinth. Once again, Julian was filming a video, this time with him and Helena. They were wearing their respective gears, so it was most probably before their match. The good old friends from AXN were joking around, being goofy, as they waited for their turn at the ring.
"We are here today with the best of the best, the brightest, the immaculate," Julian is off-screen, directing the video through his camera phone, while Helena pointed at herself, exaggerating everything as best as she could. "HELENA NOIR!!!!"
She started dancing for some reason, imagining the cheers of the crowd, "...and with me, ladies and gentlemen, is none other than the handsomest man in the face of the planet! Juliaaaaaaaaan Tijerrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!"
Julian tried his best to act all gangsta-like but he ended up laughing throughout.
During Night One of The Lucha World Cup, Julian and Helena represented Team Rest of the World against Team USA's Washington and Awesomeo, Team Mexico's SPAM and Francisco, and Team Canada's Chris Proudfoot and Matt Fury in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs main event match. Julian and Helena worked well together, hitting double-team moves with relative ease and taking what the rest of the teams had to offer. At one point, Helena pushed Julian away and took the hit meant for him. In response, Julian destroyed Fury.
During Night Two, however, Julian represented Team Rest of the World alone in a Firework Deathmatch against Team USA's Senior Awesomeo, Team Mexico's SPAM, and Team Canada's Chris Proudfoot. That match saw Julian fly all over the ring, hitting aerial moves on one opponent to the next until he was swatted back down to the mat by Proudfoot.
"The Lucha World Cup was fun," Julian commented while eating shawarma in his purple lamborghini. "It was great to work with an old friend in Helena Noir after the things that went down between her and AXN Management. I was looking forward to working with her in AXN, but things happened. Glad I was able to do that in Guerreros of Lucha."
"The following lucha," the ring announcer bellowed in the middle of the ring. "...is the Tower of Terror Match!!"
Julian winced as he guided his purple lamborghini on a turn, "Yeah, that Tower of Terror Match against Mohammed Al Thani was pretty painful. I think that was the most hardcore match I've been in. Nothing screams hardcore than getting smashed in the face with lighting equipment."
Mohammed tried get some breaths back, but Julian wasted no time bombarding his face and body with kicks. Mohammed began to show signs of bruising but soon blunted Tijerina's head with one of the lighting equipment. He soon climbed back over the railings and hit another devastating suplex before carrying on with the assault with a massive clothesline.
"GOL! GOL! GOL! GOL!" the fans screamed their appreciation of the match both hardworking men were putting in front of them.
Mohammed looked up and began to climb on the rail to get at the lighting. He soon smirked before revealing a sharp screwdriver. Mohammed jumped back down and began to penetrate inside the skin of Julian! He screamed in pain as blood trickled down his face, busting him wide open. Mohammed then rammed his knee into Julian's stomach before dropping him to the ground. Mohammed made motions for his Wrath of Sharia finisher and got him in position.
Unfortunately for him, Julian still had the awareness to jump onto the railings and even tore off a light, immediately smashing Mohammed over the head as soon as he could. Sparks flew everywhere at the impact.
"HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" the fans kept screaming.
Both men were busted wide open as they found themselves on the ground. They both initially moved at the same time as they tried to regain their momentum. They climbed up to their feet as opposite sides before looking at each other. They stumbled towards one another and began trading blows with punch after punch, cutting their skin and bruising it at the same time. Mohammed got the upperhand initially but Julian soon ducked a punch, countering with a Pele Kick. Mohammed was stunned and Tijerina saw his chance, hitting him with a Kedavra Knee.
Julian tried to pull Mohammed up so he could throw him off, but the size difference meant it was a struggle. Instead, Julian began the slow process of pushing Mohammed over the rails. He made one last roar before hitting a huge dropkick. Mohammed seemed like he was going to fall off but instead managed to grab onto the bottom corner of the tower.
Julian couldn’t believe his luck as Mohammed barely managed to grasp the bottom corner of the tower. Tijerina now had to take the massive gamble of climbing off the tower and getting to the bottom, too. He saw Mohammed push himself up to the outside of the tower. Julian jumped onto the rail and shouts for one more Kedavra Knee. Unfortunately, Mohammed ducked it and got a hold him, countering with the Wrath of Sharia onto the tower.
Mohammed immediately took a big breath before climbing over the rail. He proceeded to throw Julian off the tower through ten tables. The bell rang and Mohammed's music played, the bloodied Pearl Gladiator showing off a big smile on his face.
"I did what I could," Julian said as he was caught by a red light. "But Mohammed was just a different beast."
"My last match with Guerreros of Lucha was at Yippy Kai Yay Motherfucker," Julian heaved a sigh, seemingly not too happy at what happened. "It was me, Helena, and Rosario. Despite the fact that I wasn't an official member of The Revenants, we were billed as The Revenants. Helena was having problems with The Maniacs, so I had her back. We thought Rosario had ours, too."
As soon as the bell rang, the crowd immediately made their desire of an all-out brawl known, with the six participants happily obliging. A Maniac took Julian Tijerina over the top rope in sacrificial fashion, landing outside on concrete, after Helena bumped into Julian thanks to all three Maniacs hitting a coordinated triple dropkick to her. Helena was left to fight off a Maniac blasting her midsection with vicious arrhythmic kicks.
Rosario, meanwhile, lifted a Maniac onto his shoulders, going for a short run and throwing his opponent's legs backwards all the while holding his head, driving Maniac's head to the mat violently. This early finisher served as a distraction to the other Maniac who turned his sights on Rosario. Helena immediately took the opportunity, hitting the other Maniac with a straight punch to the ear, staggering the Maniac forward by two steps, and with one photogenic headkick, dropped the Maniac stone-cold.
Outside the ring, the 7-foot monstrous clown appeared unmoved by the changing tide inside the ring. That changed when Helena, feeding off the crowd's energy, took him down with a flying roundhouse kick. Julian in turn propped a Maniac up against a guardrail, kicking the ever-loving shit out of him. Somehow, someway, that same Maniac managed to spear Julian into the apron and then overhead suplexed him into the guardrail. Likewise, another Maniac dove through the middle ropes and speared Helena into the guardrail. Rosario, however, muscled out of whatever his Maniac tried to set up and proceeded to lock the Maniac's arms behind his neck, forcing him down on his knees to apply heavy pressure.
The submission win didn't happen, however, as the other Maniacs came to the rescue with a Gorilla-aggressive beatdown, with Rosario bleeding because of the assault. Julian made the save for his team with an Over-the-shoulder Arm Drag followed by a Wheelbarrow Arm Drag, followed by a Tilt-a-whirl Headscissors Arm Drag, and finally ending in a Maniac trapped in a Fujiwara Armbar! As that Maniac squirmed, a fellow Maniac ate super kick after super kick from Helena who was determined to see this asshole die via super kick. However, that asshole managed to stay standing. By the fifth super kick to the chin, the Maniac did collapse but only by falling outside of the ring and into the arms of the monstrous, stone-walled clown who tossed him back inside.
A bleeding Rosario unleashed a flurry of forearm smashes to bust his Maniac wide open, and to the crowd's delight, they witnessed yet another extraordinary maneuver: the Maniac was thrown into the air and brought down via cutter. Rosario swiftly transitioned to a pin and the referee sighs relief when his hand slaps the canvas for the third time.
But then Rosario suplexed Noir.
"Rosario and I haven't talked since he backstabbed Helena and myself," Julian gripped the steering wheel of his purple lamborghini tightly.
Julian went over to ask what was going on before he too was met with a massive belly-to-belly suplex. Soon Diaz emerged and applauded before Big Boss Rosario walked out of the ring, leaving his former teammates and aligning himself with Diaz. Helena and Julian looked on as Rosario looked behind before walking away with Carlos Diaz and leaving them.
"But that's all in the past, amigo," Julian's words echoed in a closed gym where he is training in the dark, flipping off the top turnbuckle onto the mat, running between ropes, leaping up and hitting an imaginary opponent with an enzuigiri. "I'm looking forward to the future now. I'm back, in The Labyrinth, and I am going to finish what I've started."
A ladder suddenly appeared in the middle of the ring. Julian climbed it in the dark. He perched on top of it, sitting pretty. Soon, he appeared on the ledge of his balcony, wearing his white suit with a green tie, eyes focused towards the horizon.
"At Eternal Lucha II," he murmured to himself. "I will claim what was always rightfully mine. I will take Pandora's Box and ascend to godhood. I will be the God of War."
Julian stared straight into the camera. There was fury in his eyes. He opened his mouth in an attempt to scream and just like that the screen turned to black. Thunder was heard momentarily.
