Wrestler's Name: Adrien Cochrane
Nickname(s): The Dropkick King
Gimmick: Clean cut babyface with a music side-career
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 190 pounds
Place of Birth: New Orleans, Louisiana
Alignment (Tecnicos, Rudos or Neutral) : Tecnicos
Team (tag, trios or stable) : n/a
Picture Base: Jason Wade from Lifehouse
Appearance/Attire: Black pants length wrestling tights with “Dropkick” down the left leg and “King” down the right, all in a light blue. He wears a black sleeveless shirt that has #Believe in the same font. He wears black elbow pads.
Theme Music: "Last One Standing" by Simple Plan
Entrance: The lights turn off for a moment. The dueling guitar riffs from Simple Plan guitarists Sébastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco from their song “Last One Standing” as the screen reads “#Believe” in a light blue font. With a solitary spotlight on the top of the ramp, Adrien Cochrane appears the moment Pierre Bouvier’s vocals begin to echo throughout the venue.
“How many times are you gonna try to shut me out?
I told you once, told you twice, I ain't going to turn back around
You can say whatever, try to mess with me
I don't care, I'm not scared
You don't have to say you're sorry, save your sympathy
With a friend like you, I don't need an enemy
I would give you time if you were worth it
But guess what, you're not worth it”
TC: From New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing in at one hundred ninety pounds, "The Dropkick King"...ADRIEN COCHRANE!
Cochrane looks at the fans from the ramp for a moment, giving a smile as he makes his way down the ramp and to the ring, hitting as many high fives and fist bumps as he can on his way to his destination. As Adrien leaps over the ropes to enter the squared circle and removes his black leather jacket to expose his #Believe shirt, he leans on the ropes with his fist in the air to the sound of the chorus.
“Whoa-oh, whoa-oh, I'm always going to be the last one standing
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh, because I'm never going to give up trying
And now I'm ready to go, I'm here, I'm waiting for you
And I'm going be the last one standing”
Primary Style: Aerial
Secondary Style (if wrestler has one): Technical
Strengths: As a former track runner, he is one of the agilest and quickest in the industry. His stamina is hard to match as well. His experience after wrestling for thirteen years gives him great ring awareness and an ability to adjust his strategy on the fly.
Weaknesses: Being on the smaller side at 190 pounds takes away any ability to do any power moves except to wrestlers even smaller than him. He is unable to lift any opponent heavier than 245 pounds (usually won't even try). Also, his desire to do the right thing will sometimes put him in bad situations.
Favourite Moves:
1. Probably goes without saying, but dropkick and all forms of it
2. General submissions such as figure four, boston crab, armbar, sleeper holds, etc.
3. Drop Toe Hold
4. Russian Leg Sweep
5. DDT and all variants
6. Neckbreaker
7. Hurricanrana and variants
8. Arm Drag
9. Lots of kicks and martial arts strikes
10. Jawbreaker
Trademark Move(s) and Description(s): Lullaby Ballad (Head scissors takedown into triangle chokehold); Flight One Eight Two (Swanton Bomb); Lightning Strike (Superkick); Ace-Inator (Whisper in the Wind); The Dream Breaker (Death Valley Driver, only can be done to wrestlers under 245 pounds)
Finisher(s) and Description: The Adrien Cutter (Diamond Cutter ala DDP); Crescent City Connection (Springboard Meteora)
3-Managers
Do you have a Manager
Manger(s) Name(s): Eddie Walker
Manager(s) Pic Base(s): Mark Hoppus
A Bio if you have a manager: Eddie Walker, born July 25th, 1976, was a musician from the outskirts of Austin, Texas. His music career never broke out the way he wanted it to, being the bassist in a band that had a singer and a guitarist with major drug problems. But using the connections he made during that run to start his career as a music manager. His first client? This young wrestler from New Orleans who was also a musician. This intrigued Walker enough to begin managing Cochrane’s music career, relocating to Louisiana for this new stage in life. It worked because it helped Adrien keep his mind on wrestling while Walker took care of anything music related, basically just telling Adrien when he needed to be on a stage with a guitar. Over time, they became best friends. Once Adrien divorced his wrestling manager, Adrianna Rivers, Eddie Walker decided he could expand his career to managing Adrien’s wrestling life as well. It became a bigger success than he could ever imagine as he ended up, at one point, with seventeen other clients aside from Cochrane, starting with Adrien’s proteges, Adam Sanders and Kenzie Rydell. While he’s reduced his client count the past few months, Adrien Cochrane remains his best friend and top client.
